This operetta, through its melodramatic plot and a series of comic situations, paints a portrait of a city in transition — of a world that moves from an age of innocence into an age of consumerism shaped by war — and of an individual who cannot change, remaining forever true to themselves despite newly emerged circumstances.
The performance will be accompanied by the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by maestro Dario Vučić.
The production features the soloists and choir of the Opera of the National Theatre Sarajevo, as well as the Ballet of the National Theatre Sarajevo.
