The play “Umri muški” (Die Hard) is the longest-running play in the history of Bosnian and Herzegovinian theatre.
Another brilliant performance is expected, marking the years of its existence and promising a night filled with laughter and special emotions. The main actors of this outstanding production are Tatjana Šojić, Admir Glamočak, and Ermin Bravo.
It was created back in 1990 as Tatjana Šojić’s graduation performance and since then has continuously filled the auditorium of Kamerni Teatar 55, becoming—according to the theatre’s official statement—the most frequently performed Bosnian and Herzegovinian play of all time.
Originally conceived as an unpretentious, low-budget comedy about male–female relationships, “Umri muški” became a cult classic solely thanks to the audience’s ongoing interest.
Directed by Admir Glamočak, this theatrical piece tells the story of a love triangle between Eva, Mario, and Bruno. The text, written by Aldo Nicolaj, is full of witty situations that leave the audience—and sometimes even the actors—breathless with laughter.
The acting ensemble shines on stage, bringing the characters to life in a way that wins over the hearts of the audience.
The play “Umri muški”, which has captured the hearts of audiences since 1990 and written the history of Kamerni Teatar 55, has marked 35 years of uninterrupted performances.
